First Whitney, now Mariah.
The new season of The Oprah Winfrey Show has only just begun and it looks like Oprah is trying to blow every other talk show out of the water. (Not that she has to try that hard.)
Mariah Carey was featured on the show today (September 18) to sing her latest single, I Want To Know What Love Is, from her album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel.
Mimi later joined Lady O and hubby Nick Cannon on the couch to talk about married life, her fluctuating album drop date and her beef with Eminem.
Meanwhile, Oprah’s book pick has leaked.
It’s Uwem Akpan’s Say You’re One of Them, the short story collection that most industry insiders have been guessing she had chosen.
The Washington Post says the information “unintentionally leaked Thursday from a book distribution company.” But look for her to explain on her show today why we all should read the tales by Akpan, a Nigerian-born Jesuit priest who teaches in Zimbabwe.

I think Mariah is looking awesome!! She really hasn’t changed much from the 90s at all! Her body has always been a bit of a mystery to me though…her weight is very up and down and sometimes she looks really out of proportion. I love her version of this song!
I’m glad Oprah’s giving up the weight battle. This is who she is. The truth is extra pounds look good on her.
