Taking a break from getting naked in movies, big screen beauty Natalie Portman is the celebrity cover girl and guest editor of an upcoming issue of Scholastic Math magazine.
Sure, it’s no Vogue, but you take what you can get, right?
In her letter from the editor, she says: “Math was one of my favorite subjects in school. It always gets a bad rap and I’m not sure why. I always found math to be such an exciting avenue to think about the world in new and different ways.
Sure, you need to use math daily for knowing how much tip to leave at a restaurant or how much flour you need to make double the amount of cookies in a recipe, but it is the less obviously practical parts of math that are most fun for me—like considering the principles of infinity. It made me excited about life to consider the limitlessness of the mind and what we can do with it.â€
Talented, beautiful and smart. Ugh, she makes us sick!

What a cool idea: self-esteem for young women based on intelligence rather than who you sleep with and whose clothes you wear. Kudos to Ms. Portman!
But that picture is NOT cute.
Oh, the irony…
Ha, ha, yeah, I know….
Kudos to Natalie, I just hate math, bleck, who cares about infinity, and how can there be a perfect number? There can be a perfect purse, perfect shoes, perfect dessert, but no perfect number.
^ LOL@ Meaghan- I know, I stuck at math in school.. L)
*stunk
apperently she went to yale or some other ivey league school..
She looks like a male
there you have…boobs are not all in life, bimbos!
She should be proud and never subestimate other people but what she has done is something to be proud, her acting when she was a baby in the Professional and recent movies is an example a good acting that she deserve to be proud. I love her and always will be in favor of her exemplary life, is somewthing to be proud and deserve our attention because when she is acting she has the skills of perfect acting and I never found a movie with her that does not amuse me. Starting until now in diferent films, she deserve to be proud of what she accomplish because in her short life nobody has done the things that she has done.
