Eva Longoria had a run-in with the police yesterday (September 16) while driving her Lexus RX 400h in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old Desperate Housewives actress made her argument with the officer but that didn’t stop him from slapping her with a ticket.

Eva then went on with her day, later being see departing from her L.A. home bound for the UCLA campus, but she certainly didn’t look happy about it.

So, what’s Eva doing on a university campus? Taking courses, of course!

She is currently learning more about her Latino roots by getting her Master’s Degree in Chicano Studies.

Exams are next week, but Eva quietly confident she’ll do well.

“I have an A right now,” she says. “I’m a nerd. I wish I was this student when I was young… I don’t remember college.”

Eva — a former beauty queen — already has a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M University.
