Joined by her adorable daughter daughter Daisy True, former “it” girl Meg Ryan tends to some domestic duties while marketing at Whole Foods (overpriced grocers to the stars) in Santa Monica, CA.
Since we last saw the happy mother-and-daughter duo, Meg’s 2 1/2-year-old bundle of joy has hooked herself up with a new accessory — glasses!
Meanwhile, the 45-year-old has just wrapped up shooting her upcoming romantic comedy ‘The Women’ about a wealthy New Yorker who leaves her cheating husband and bonds with other society women at a resort. The remake of George Cukor’s 1939 flick costars Debra Messing, Eva Mendes, Jada Pinkett Smith, Annette Benning, Bette Midler, Ana Gasteyer and Candice Bergin.

Sounds like that is going to one hell of a great movie with a cast like that. The 1939 version is a wonderful film but this group can make it a fantastic movie…..hope the script is as good as the actors. Did Meg get that crap out of her lips yet???

How is Whole Foods overpriced for the stars? It’s a fantastic grocer if you want to get your hands on organic products and fantastic produce and meals that are good for you. Isn’t your health and that of the environment worth a little more money? I personally shop there all the time…and last time I checked I wasn’t a star.
Update on my house. Apparently its pretty much in the clear now thank god as its close to the coast and the wind is blowing away from it. I’m at the airport now waiting for my flight which is in an hour or so. I feel awful leaving! I’m taking my two dogs with me thank god. I couldn’t leave them! What was really sad though was that Castle Kashan has gone…:-(

Are kid supposed to wear glasses when they’re so young? Wouldn’t it damage their eyes/make their eyesight worse..? Or is that just an accessory? …..
Fair enough for 4 and 5 year olds to get glasses when starting prep and school (reading, writing etc) but yeah she must have serious sight problems to be weaing them so young.
I’m glad your house is okay Stephi, you must be worried to leave it but i’m telling you the weather here in bris is so great you won’t want to leave!!
I volunteer at a children’s charity hospital and you’d be surprised how super young children are when they can get glasses. Its almost impossible for me to comprehend how the doctors even can tell what prescription to give because the children aren’t able to do the regular eye exam.
I wore glasses starting from 1,5 years old. I had really bad eyes. But with the right glasses, they managed to fix the problem!
So cute w/ the glasses!! Meg, on the other hand….her once adorably pretty face is completely ruined. I never woulda’ thunk it.
They both have the same scrappy bangs. Meg, run a comb through your poor daughter’s hair!
