Just as she reaches a turning point in her life by gaining more custody to her kids, Britney Spears’ parenting skills are being criticized.
Sources tell Us Weekly that the down-and-out singer’s court-appointed monitor recently handed in a “very damaging report”!!!
The paperwork, filed under seal to LA Superior Court, claims that “[Spears, 25] paid her [monitor] no attention or respect at all, as if she were some employee whom she could blow off,†the source says.“Britney’s often distracted and in her own world when she has the kids [Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1] and has a hard time focusing,†the insider adds. “She is adamant that she doesn’t have to listen to anybody — that it’s her way or the highway.”
Parenting sessions had previously been at Spears’ residence, the source says, but the coach now wants meetings to take place at her office. “She doesn’t want all the distractions, whether it’s the paparazzi or whatever else is going on,†the source says.
Adds the source: “Britney needs to focus on improving her parenting skills and prove that she really wants these kids.â€
So, what? Driving around all day chasing the paparazzi between tanning sessions and takout isn’t proof enough?!?

I can’t get over the fact that a parenting coach is with her and she takes them all on a run to Starbucks!!!! Does anyone else just think that is hilarious because it is so absurd. Every time I see her vacant bovine face and fat doughy body hanging out of yet another train wreck of an outfit, I remember her interview last year with Matt Lauer, for which she showed up in trailer-trash maternity couture, snapped her gum non-stop, whined about the paparazzi, and uttered that legendary line excusing her poor parenting skills: “We’re country, ya’ll!” Little did I dream that I was seeing the high-water mark of her class and sophistication. At this point, I would pay money for one week without seeing or hearing about her, which is now apparently impossible for anyone who owns a TV, uses an Internet connection, or sets foot in any store that sells magazines and newspapers. Since that’s unlikely to happen, I’m going to wish instead for just one day in which this blog– which I otherwise enjoy– does NOT feature a new post about her on an hourly basis.
Sounds a bit gossip-ish to me, but I do think that Britney is kind of in a daze about everything. I think her life is just one big circus and she kind of gets flustered by it all sometimes. I really hope she can sort herself out, if not for her own sake but for that of her children. They are adorable little kids and growing up like they are is no way to go.
