Meanwhile, Hugh is back in NYC after spending a few days in Tokyo for the premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. While there, he confirmed that the sequel will be set in Japan and said that the script was being worked on “right now.”

After driving into the premiere on a motorcyle, he said: “Hopefully, maybe a couple of years down the track, the next Wolverine movie we think will be set in Japan. I’m very excited and I’d like to invite you all to the audition. There are going to be many parts and we’re writing the script right now … and we’ll let you know when we’re ready to shoot.”
