In what was arguably the most touching and memorable moment of the evening, Beyonce brought Taylor Swift up following B’s Video of the Year win during Sunday night’s (September 13) MTV Video Music Awards in New York City to allow the teenage singer a chance to re-do her thank-you speech.
Beyonce told the crowd about her first VMA win as a 17-year-old with Destiny’s Child and how much it meant to her. She then called Taylor from backstage to huge applause.
After sending her gratitude out to those who helped her, Taylor turned back to Beyonce (both ladies looked lovely in red) and they exchanged a hug before hitting the press room.
