In a day and age where every starlet is trying to outdo the other by donning the most outrageous thing they can find, it was refreshing to see Beyonce look conventionally pretty as she arrived at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday (September 13).
Making quite a splash on the carpet in a sexy, red ruffle dress and her hair done curly, the Single Ladies singer’s interview with Tim Kash is nearly hijacked by her own security. While gracefully answering questions, Beyonce revealed that she’s most looking forward to seeing Lady Gaga and, of course, the Michael Jackson tribute.
Meanwhile, at nine nominations, Beyonce is up for the most number of awards tonight. But as we all know, country music darling Taylor Swift managed to finagle one away from her.
