RYAN GOSLING: DIVA ON THE SET

ryan-gosling-kick-off-peter.jpg

In recent weeks, we have been Canadian actor Ryan Gosling rocking a beard and packing on the pounds for his leading role in Peter Jackson’s ‘The Lovely Bones.’

Then suddenly, just three days before production was set to begin, Ryan backed out of the project citing “creative difference.”

Now comes news that those “difference” were a lot less creative and a lot more personal.

“Peter couldn’t stand Ryan,” said one source. Though Variety reported that Gosling had “stepped down” and was replaced by Mark Wahlberg, our source said, “Ryan cut his own hair, and was fighting with wardrobe. He was so demanding . . . Peter booted him two days before filming started.”

Hmm…fighting? Demanding? Perhaps that why ex-gal pal Rachel McAdams kicked his butt to the curb!

I don’t know about him being a diva considering I saw an interview of him not long ago and he still lives in the same ghetto ass apartment he had before he made any money. He doesn’t spend hardly any of his money at all. I think he is a really great actor! He did a great job in the movie “Half Nelson”.

No one is surprised by that revelation hiedi. You’ll go in your licorice car and sit in a tootsie roll chair next to your unicorn friend and you’ll use the cloud restroom. Life is always wonderful in hiedi land.

Mark Whalberg a better choice. I really can’t see Ryan as the father of a 14 year old girl. Mark seems more fitting. As long as he takes off his shirt, this movie ok’s with me ;)

Not really sure I follow you, Anonymous. Because I think a movie looks good? Maybe it’s because I thought the book was great. Also, grow a pair and use a real name.

If it were REALLY wonderful in Hiedi Land, she would be driving a Snickers car. ‘Cause Snickers is so much more delicous than licorice…

I liked the book, but I won;t see the movie.
Just like the Time Traveller’s Wife…the casting is awful, and they could never make the movie as good as the book.

Excuse me but I think he is just one of those actors that want a story told right and no cheesy hollywood bullshit. I don’t believe he’s a diva because he wants the character to wear what the character SHOULD wear. He put on weight for this role he’s obviously not really that shallow to be a diva. Arasto’s reporting…..sheesh.
Also; I love Marky Mark but I think he’s too hot for this. Can he even carry off this role?

Ryan Gosling is NOT a diva. Variety has already reported that Ryan Gosling left the movie because Peter Jackson is a tool. Gosling had told him ahead of time he was going to gain weight for the role so I have NO IDEA why Jackson decided to have a problem with it the weekend before filming began. This movie sounds like a disaster with Mark Wahlberg. He umm….oh yeah, CAN’T ACT. Unless one note, cringe worthy perfomances are any indication of his acting ability. And I’m pretty sure Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams mutually split up.

I have never read anything about Peter Jackson being a tool, all the actors that usually work with him have nothing but high praise.

He actually has been in the past. He did something similar to Stuart Townsend when he was casting for Lord of the Rings.
