Once the crowd got over the shock of seeing the two superstars in the same auditorium space, they settled down and began to marvel at Canadian director Jason Reitman’s most mature work yet, a metaphorical study of an unmoored lifestyle led by gorgeous George’s constant flyer, who is hired by firms to do their down-sizing dirty work.
Meanwhile, what began as a harmless question and answer with the audience after the Up in the Air premiere ended with an rather pointed inquiry that put the usually sliver-tongued Clooney on the spot.
When a male voice shouted out to George, “How do you relate, yourself, to your character?” George was left search for the perfect answer considering his big screen alter ego happily denounces any need for marriage or family. The carefree bachelor — who went public with his latest lady love, Italian actress/model Elisabetta Canalis, in Venice last week — appeared flustered and nervously laughed before answering, “Same height … same weight … thanks for asking that.”

So looking forward to Up in the Air. Clooney always seems to hit the mark with movies and TV shows that are socially and politically relevant to our times (Syriana, Good Night and Good Luck, Michael Clayton, HBO’s K Street). Thank you George!
Oprah is a friend hopping snob.
There’s our resident starfucker, Oprah. She can’t live without them.
