In non-Fashion Week news, Eva Longoria hosted the Padres Contra El Cancer’s 9th Annual ‘El Sueno De Esperanza’ benefit gala at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood last night (September 10).

Looking like a chiffon cupcake, the Desperate Housewives actress showed off her Zoom whitened pearly whites as she helped raise awareness and funds for the non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for Latino children with cancer and their families.

Honorees this year included renowned celebrity stylist Ken Paves and L’Oreal Paris while the surprise special musical performance came courtesy of none other than multiple Latin Grammy award winning female artist Paulina Rubio.

Meanwhile, when she’s not stirring up trouble on Wisteria Lane, Eva is busy throwing her celebrity weight behind a cause near and dear to her heart: health care for children, especially children of colour.
