Causing hoots and hollars that could be heard from around the corner, Megan Fox caused quite a fan and photog tizzy as she attended the Jennifer’s Body premiere at the Ryerson Theatre in Toronto last night (September 10) as part of day of the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival.
The 23-year-old actress looked lovely in lace as she worked the red carpet alongside her very, very lucky co-star Johnny Simmons.
In the flick directed by Karyn Kusama and written by Diablo Cody of Juno, Megan plays a high school sex bomb who, quite literally, turns into a man-eater.
Meanwhile, it appears Miss Fox is set to come up against fellow big screen beauty Angelina Jolie as the pair battle it out for a role in the new remake of Barbarella. Angie is said to be “petrified” that they’re both auditioning for the lead role.
“This will be the first time Ange and Megan have ever faced off for the same role,” a source has been quoted as saying. “Ange is really feeling the pressure. Ange knows that to win roles she has to look youthful. Megan is stunning and fast becoming a huge star. Angelina is petrified.”

Although I dislike both of them, Angelina is the better actress of the two. Poor Angelina looks veiny and old in comparison.

Acting-wise Angelina would be great for the role, but Barbarella is a youthful character, so I can totally see casting Megan for it. The reality is women have a short shelf-life in Hollywood. Age happens. Soon enough (probably sooner than she’d like to think), someone will be nipping at Megan’s heels.

Angie is too old and stringy for the part and Megan can’t act. Barbarella was a pretty crap movie but if they are going to remake it they’ll need more than just a pretty face. I’d like Evan Rachel Wood for the role.

I used to find her beautiful but now shes morphing into a caricature of herself, today only the word ‘pathetic’ comes up in my mind. It’s a shame, she could have chosen another direction.
