Cameron Diaz and Seth Rogen began filming scenes for their upcoming movie The Green Hornet in Los Angeles this afternoon (September 5).
In today’s scene, an explosion could be seen going off during a press conference as the unlikely co-stars are rushed frantically to their car.
The flick also stars Taiwanese actor-pop star Jay Chou as Kato, Edward James Olmos, David Harbour and Tom Wilkinson. Nicolas Cage is also in negotiations to appear in the movie.
The story follows the adventures of Brit Reid. A wealthy publisher of The Daily Sentinel by day, Reid roams as a masked crime fighter by night, dedicated to protecting the lives and rights of the city’s citizens. Reid is accompanied by Kato, a chauffeur/bodyguard/personal assistant during business hours who transforms into a masked sidekick with a knack for martial arts when the sun goes down.
After recently changing its release, The Green Hornet is set to hit theatres on December 17, 2010. That’s the exact same day that Disney plans to release Tron Legacy starring Jeff Bridges and Olivia Wilde.

WTF with Seth Rogan, he is disgusting, it’s not fair that us women have to look at replusive men like him but the women in the movies have to be attractive. and please don’t tell me he is funny, he really isn’t that great and why can’t directors find more decent looking guys like paul rudd or vince vaughn in comedy’s. GO AWAY seth rogan!!!!
Crap casting.
From “yellow let it mellow” wack job faux environmentalist.
I’m personally tiring of these comic book movie remakes which play to the 14 -24 male demographic. But, unfortunately, these are the types of movies that make a shit-load of money. And for Hollywood, that’s the only point in making a film, sadly. Diaz looks great in her pencil skirt and white button-down. Her body type is fabulous for that classic style.
