Once again, fabulousness took over the streets of Manhattan today (September 4) as filming resumed on the Sex and the City sequel.
While Sarah Jessica Parker showed off her killer figure in a tight pair of light blue jeans and a belly-bearing plaid shirt, co-star Cynthia Nixon was all about her accessories — the shoes, the bag, the necklace, the works.
The fashionable flick isn’t due out in cinemas until next spring, but it’s already causing a frenzy in New York City. Extra security has reportedly been hired to protect the cast after onlookers got so over-excited that yesterday’s filming was actually delayed.
A source tells the New York Daily News: “People were screaming and trying to push past guards. The fans were just too much. Security looked legitimately concerned for her safety.

It must be a nightmare trying to film in the busiest city in the world. They do a pretty good job of it, but I’ve spotted fans in the background of some scenes before. SJP has the tiniest little waist! I think she looks really cute here…love the shoes!!
