Meanwhile, it appears Kanye has reached out to Soulja Boy for help on his upcoming rap album’s production. The pair will reportedly exchange beats for their new solo projects.
“I’m working on Kanye’s next album right now,” Soulja Boy says in a new interview. “We working together on production because he makes beats and I make beats. Right now I’m remixing a couple of records for him. I’m actually working on [Kanye's] album while he’s working on my album.”
This is a big move for Soulja Boy as his music — following the meteoric success of Crank That — has been the subject of ridicule from his peers and critics.
