Michael Jackson wasn’t the only celebrity whose life and death was remembered last night.

A handful of stars stepped out on Thursday (September 3) to pay tribute to DJ AM at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Among them were Rebecca Gayheart and husband Eric Dane, Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan, Danny Masterson, Tom Arnold, Bijou Phillips and fame-loving TV doctor, Dr. Drew Pinksy.

The somber event came just one day after the celebrity deejay otherwise known as Adam Goldstein was laid to rest during a Jewish ceremony at the Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary in West Los Angeles.

Former fiancée Nicole Richie and pal Lindsay Lohan were also supposed to attend — though we haven’t managed to get our hands on any photos of them….yet. Stay tuned.

AM was found dead August 28 at age 36. The cause of death hasn’t been determined, but paraphernalia and evidence surrounding his dead body suggest OxyContin pills and crack cocaine were involved.
