Ben Affleck and Blake Lively spent the morning filming a backyard BBQ scene on the set of their upcoming flick The Town in Boston, MA today (August 31).
Jon Hamm, Rebecca Hall and Jeremy Renner already are cast in the big screen adaptation of Chuck Hogan’s novel Prince of Thieves.
The story follows a bank manager (Hall), the career criminal (Affleck) who stole more than her heart and the dedicated FBI agent (Hamm) trying to bust the crook and his gang, of which Renner is a part.
As for Blake? She plays Renner’s sister and Affleck’s troubled ex-girlfriend. But you could have guessed that based on the baby in her arms and the trailer behind her.
Filming began last week in Beantown. Look for a release on September 10, 2010.

Jeremy Renner, right on! Loved “The Hurt Locker.” Ben looks super hot too. I don’t quite get the huge age difference between his and Blake’s character though. Was he supposedly dating her when she was 12? They couldn’t find an age appropriate actress?
I’m looking foward to seeing her in something other than Gossip Girl…and the Travelling Pants thing doesn’t count. This movie looks interesting.
so typical of hollywood movies, the leading actress has to be at least 10 years younger then the leading man. Gosh, this blake girl is not hot at all, she’s so regular, blah.
