While tonight’s (August 30) Daytime Emmys in Los Angeles were all about The Bold and the Beautiful, it was Tyra Banks who stole the show with her overreaction to news that her syndicated yapfest won the gong for Outstanding Talk Show.
Accepting the prize, Miss Banks roared, “This is for the women out there who just do not feel beautiful and do not have time to do your makeup because you’re rushing after your kids. I get it. This is for the kids in high school that feel insecure when they walk onto that campus because they’re surrounded by hate. This is for you guys! You rock!”
Meanwhile, the ladies of The View ended Ellen DeGeneres’ four-year run as talk show host winner. But after endless losses, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherri Shepherd and Barbara Walters were not on hand to accept.

what i find most repulsive about tyra is how she turns everyones problems into her ‘own’ so she comes across as compassionate and everyone thinks ’she knows what im going through’…WRONG!

People just need to look at the ‘punked’ MTV episode where some girl goes up to her to get an autograph and she goes ape shit…..screaming for people ‘to get her away from me’ and ’stay back…get back’. (bet you kind find video of it anywhere (her PR people will have pulled it down).
She is a rude vile diva of the worst kind. Uses other peoples problems to gain her money and popularity. Tyra, you will never be oprah. go away!

Tyra looks great here, but she always looks so fake. I feel like when she gets home and takes off the layers of makeup and the weave she would look like a completely different person. I feel the same about Kim Kardashian and Beyonce as well. I think her show is pretty good, but I agree that she comes across as phoney sometimes. The women from The View are a bunch of bitter betties and I think it’s pretty poor form for them not to show up.
