Looking more in love than ever, a glammed down and makeup-free Christina Milian and fiance The Dream stepped out in New York City yesterday (August 28) for a little retail therapy.

Holding hands while showing off her 6-carat diamond ring wherever she went, the Dip It Low singer and her rapper beau kept things frugal as they shopped at American Apparel before heading back to their NYC hotel.

Meanwhile, Miss Milian is currently putting the final touches on her upcoming album, aptly titled Elope. For now anyway.

“It’s called Elope right now. Who knows, knowing me — I’m changing constantly,” she tells MTV. But it’s called Elope. I did it with The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. I’m really excited. It’s [about] a young female growing into a woman, and it’s very honest. The album’s fun, so I’m looking forward to performing it.”

As for whether the projected album title reflects events in her own life? “Actually, the name change came … I don’t know if I was engaged yet, but it really didn’t have anything to do with it — more so about taking a step as a woman and making decisions on my own and doing things without necessarily the permissions of others. And I think that’s really more about adulthood and coming into adulthood. I think that’s where we came up with that one.”

Elope….or whatever it’s called….is slated to drop by the end of the year….ish.
