It was a case of the early bird catching the worm as Miley Cyrus was up bright and early this morning (August 26) in Burbank, CA.

Joined by her mother Tish and a bodyguard, the 16-year-old Disney product was on hand to rehearse for her upcoming tour.

Looking leggy in daisy dukes, a fringed vest and sequined cowboy boots, MC spent the morning doing voiceovers and rehearsing before she and her stage mom called it a day just before the lunch hour.

Meanwhile, according to the Associated Press, a 53-year-old man charged with attempting to stalk the singer-actress told an investigator that he hoped to return to the Georgia set of her movie The Last Song, where he planned on “finishing things.”

Not surprisingly, a municipal court judge refused a request to lower Mark McLeod’s $55 200 bond and ruled there was sufficient evidence to send the case to Chatham County State Court.

But it appears that Miss Miley’s safety is not threatened as the judge felt McLeod had no chance of getting to the superstar because she “can afford the best protection money can buy.”

Well, isn’t that reassuring?
