On the NYC set of ‘Sex and the City’ today, Cynthia Nixon’s character Miranda Hobbes debuted her 5-year-old red-headed son Brady Hobbes during a scene where her character was making a mad dash to Carrie’s apartment.
As you may recall, Type A personality Miranda initially decided to have an abortion when she found out she was knocked up, blurting out the famous line: “I can’t have a baby. I could barely find time to schedule this abortion!”

Did anyone else realize that Miranda’s husbands name on SATC is Steve Brady and since he and Miranda are
married (and he’s the natural father) the kid’s name is actually Brady Brady. Thought that was weird!!
Wow Cynthia looks goooooooooood.. my sister ran into her in the subway a few months back and said she is not a very attractive woman, but its amazing what abig budget, hair and amkeup can do! Shes looking HOT!

The whole point of naming him brady was because he took Mirandas last name, not steves, so now he has both her last name and his last name. Thats what it seem slike anyways.
So I guess a lot of time has passed between when the show ended and when this movie will be taking place. Wasn’t he a baby when it ended as i rememeber? She looks tons better when people do her hair and makeup for her. Usually when you see pics of her out and about she is major frumpy.
Jeez, don’t you peole have any memory. She named him Brady to honor Steve, and it was before she had any idea they would ever get back together. And they cast that kid well, he looks just like her.
Cynthia looks pretty darn good in these pics. I was getting a bit worried about her for a while there–in several photos she was looking a little like a bull dyke…..(no offense intended of course)….

Yeah, I’d always wondered about the name thing, too. Of course, when she had Brady she named him Brady Hobbes. He would only be Brady Brady if she had his named changed after she married Steve.

That cute little boy Brady who looks just like miranda is actually the baby from the series,there is a article online about it all.
They used two different kids in the series, didn’t they? I thought he changed after season 5.
They used several different babies, but I’m pretty sure that this little boy is the baby they used in the season 6 episode “One” and some others.
He is the same boy they used in season 5 and 6. He is awesome. He is in both movies.
