Is Ashley Olsen hinting at plans to quit the fashion industry?
The 23-year-old co-designer of The Row says she wants to return to her acting roots.
“In the fashion world everyone is just really looking out for themselves,” Ashley has been quoted as saying. “I don’t know if I’ll be designing this collection forever. A couple of years from now, I’m sure I’ll want to do something else, and I’m not going to shy away from that. What if I just want to be an artist, or if I want to go back to acting? Which is not in the cards, but what if I wanted to do that?”
Strangely, it was only last month that Ashley told Hamptons Magazine a very different story.
“I’m not an actress,” she told the publication. “I’m not a public figure or acting as one.”

She is giving up fashion because she got old, fat and unfashionable. She used to be stylish when it was cool to dress homeless. Now the look is futuristic and edgy and she still looks like a schlub. I have no idea why cameras still follow her and her sister around. Do the photos actually sell?

You can’t be old at 23! And she can lose the extra pounds, maybe she’s not passionate about fashion anymore. I hope she gets one day a great movie role.
I wish she wouldn’t always pose like that. Suck cheeks in, puff lips in a pout and bug out the eyes. Looks freaky and unnatural.
