In contrast, Jennifer’s six previous albums, including her ill-received Spanish record, all debuted in the Top Ten.
Making matters worse? 2005’s ‘Rebirth’ sold nearly five times as much as ‘Brave’ did in its first week.

Her Bennifer days are what made her a tabloid star, but actually she was only selling records and getting movie roles at first because of her relationship with P Shitty. He is the one who made her famous unfortunately, not Ben Affleck.

I actually enjoy her romantic comedies. She is cute and lovable in them. I wish she would quit singing and go back to the goofy movies.
When she first came out though she was so hot. In the video “Waiting for tonight” I serisouly thought she was one of the most beautiful women I had ever seen. Now since she married Marc she has gotten this matronly grandmother type thing going on that I can’t explain.

I KNEW this would happen! Sure her hardcore fans will still buy her music but the majority of people are over that whole sound now. They’ve moved onto other things. She hasn’t really changed her music style since the last album. I think that will be the last English album she brings out she will probably just stick to the Spanish stuff now. I think she knew it was going to suck, otherwise why did she feel the need to do as much promotion as she did??? Supposedly ‘big’ stars like her shouldn’t have to go to every single morning and night show, speak to every magazine etc.
Since she married Marc Anthony everything she has put out has flopped. From South Beach to El Cantante and now her music. Poor JLO. I don’t see how she could have functioned anyway with her husband following her everywhere she goes anyway.

She actually sucks singing, the only changing element here has been the beat and the audience…those two thinks were WRONG! why? she is more american tahn latin…and to be a hit in latinoamerica you have to be latin first and the american…and that you only get growing up in latinoamerica, first hand.

I’m a huge fan, but facts are facts, she just doesn’t have it anymore. She never fully recovered from Gigli. That movie was JLo’s kryptonite. Nothing she does sells. She keeps humiliating herself. I know it’s a hard pill to swallow, but you’re done. You’re a has-been sweetheart. Please retire and stop doing this to yourself. Let us remember you for all the good you did in show business (movies and music)
