This week’s Us Weekly delves into the topic of Scientology with its adorable cover girl - Suri Cruise.
The mag claims when Suri was a baby she was fed a mixture of barley water, milk and corn syrup, as advocated by L. Ron Hubbard, instead of formula and breast milk.
Us also says the 18-month-old star is too young to take classes at the Scientology Centre, but is constantly surrounded by believers, including her two nannies. “Tom doesn’t like associating with people who aren’t Scientologists,†says an insider.

I remember right after Suri was born, they were at a premier and he said he was in charge of the diapers and Katie was in charge of the breastfeeding…
nobody is that stupid to feed an infant that mixture. then again…

Suri looks healthy, happy and loved and if Scientology is the way Tom flows than so be it.
that is sooo unhealthy. the introduction of corn syrup in our diets is linked to the rise in diabetes in the country. our bodies dont know how to process it. its also another thing that makes us fatter than the rest of the world…
If she had been fed that she’d probably be dead by now. Scientologists are whack-jobs.

I thought a special Suri issue of US had already done? Maybe it was In Touch…all those mags seem to blend together! Suri is absolutely adorable and I don’t think it really matters how her parents raise her as long as they love her and take care of her, which I think they are. It annoys me how parents judge other parents just because they don’t raise their children the way they ’should’. I’m sure Tom and Katie would never do anything to harm their little girl or deprive her…she seems like a very happy, healthy child and they seem like great, hands on parents.
tom doesn’t like associating with non-scientologists? whatever. look at his friends. and his wife wasn’t a scientologist when they met either. sounds like a piece of crap. i’m not tom’s biggest fan, but some of the things said about him and his marriage are so obviously full of it
