Starting a new page in her life, newly single Emmy Rossum was seen shopping for some expensive furniture at Diva Furniture in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon (August 21).

The 22-year-old Phantom of the Opera actress looked fashion forward as always, dressed in head-to-toe black except for an uber hot, hot pink handbag.

Emmy is finally moving on with her life following her secret divorce to music mogul Justin Siegel.

The starlet’s next big screen venture is the indie flick Dare. The Adam Salky-directed movie is based on Salky’s 2005 short film which was met with acclaim at various film festivals.

The feature length version which premieres at Sundance sees Emmy in a story about “three very different teenagers who discover that, even in the safe world of a suburban prep school, no one is who she or he appears to be.”
