Now that Beyonce is a married woman, it appears that Kelly Rowland has found a new BFF.
Looking more gorgeous than ever, the former Destiny’s Child singer stepped out with fellow songstress Brandy Norwood for a shopping spree in Beverly Hills yesterday (August 19). After picking up some handbags and jeans, the pair hit up a nearby eatery for a girls-only dinner.
In terms of their career, both ladies are currently in a state of transition. Earlier this year, Brandy signed a new management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. She has reportedly started work on her sixth studio album, which is expected for release in the fall 2009. As for Kelly? She famously ended her professional relationship with both manager Mathew Knowles and former label Columbia Records in order to explore other ventures. As it stands, she’s currently still between labels and doesn’t have concrete plans for another solo album.

That’s cool they’re hanging out again. They were good friends a few years back until Brandy gave her the advice that she needed to get up from under the Knowles’ thumb, and Kelly terminated their friendship. I guess now she has sense enough to see that Brandy was absolutley right.
I love Brandy! I think she has an awesome voice and I’ve been loving her latest stuff. Looking foward to a new album. I actually wonder just how close Kelly and Beyonce really were… I can’t imagine Beyonce being a very good friend to be honest. She just seems like the type of person who would just spend time with her boyfriend all the time.
Kelly looks fab! Love her funky style. She was my favorite Destiny’s Child.
If not 4 Beyonce we wouldn’t even know who kelly was!! Im not a big fan of Beyonce but even I can admit she was the one with star quality! Brandy needs to stay in the 90’s where she belongs!!!
