The View’s resident nutty republican Elizabeth Hasselbeck just announced that she will be taking an EARLY maternity leave to join her newly signed football-playing hubby Tim in Arizona. (He just signed with the Cardinals.)
Despite erroneous reports claiming she would not leave until “Nov. 8 or 9″, the 30-year-old mum-to-be will be off the air starting October 23!!

I wonder if this will make a difference in her returning after the baby’s born? If her husband is going to be in AZ at least during the season will they move from NYC?

I like Elizabeth. Joy & Barbara are so crazy liberal she balances them out. Whoopi doesn’t seem one way or the other, more of a common-sense type (hopefully like the majority of us) and Sherri is just plain DUMB but funny so I like her. I just hope she saves her money though b/c I doubt Elizabeth will get any work after her View is over and her husband is washed up.

I don’t mind Elizabeth at all. Sure I don’t agree with all of her opinions but I don’t think anyone agrees with another person 100%. I think judging someone solely by their political view is very immature. There’s more to her than being a Republican. She seems like a nice person and she looks fantastic pregnant haha!
