The longtime lovers — who are expecting their second child together — will reportedly hold their low-key nuptials at the Bel-Air mansion of Nicole’s dad Lionel Richie.
“Joel and Nicole want to make Christmas their special family holiday,” a source has been quoted as saying. “Nicole and Joel are determined to keep things quiet and low-key. And Nicole’s taken the reins — planning everything, right down to helping design her bridal gown. She is also thrilled about the date they chose, because she’ll have time to lose the baby weight.”
Nicole is due to give birth later this summer.
The insider adds: “For Joel, Christmas has always been about family and faith. Marrying Nicole at that time of year makes the event so much more spiritual and special to him.”
Paris and Nicky Hilton, Rashida Jones and Masha Gordon will be on hand as bridesmaids. As for best men? Joel has asked his twin brother Benji to fulfill the role. The couple’s 19-month-old daughter Harlow will serve as flower girl along with Nicole’s half sister Sofie.
“Nicole has been dreaming of this day for years, and she’s taking care of every little detail,” added the mole.

She looks gorgeous here and she will make a really beautiful bride. I think it’s nice that they are taking the step to get married, Nicole really has changed a lot in the past few years!
Married, WTF. Believe me if your kids are old enough to serve as part of the bridal party you’ve kind of missed the boat. Why would a woman with 2 kids be planning a splashy white wedding for herself? If he didnt care to marry you when you were knocked up the first time, what has changed now? I can tell you - you’ve lost your glow, you’ve lost your cache, you’ve lost your looks and the public has lost interest in you. She is so done.
I agree, he has her where he wants her now. Barefoot, pregnant, jobless so NOW he wants to marry her. I know she tries to sell alot of jams n jellies with her name on it, but no one really cares about her. The bloom is off the rose. Hope she keeps dropping kids for her old fashioned guy - that’s how they like their little ladies to behave.
