Looks like mom and daughter wasted no time bonding after reuniting in Germany over the weekend.
Looking characteristically chic and ready for Fall, Katie Holmes and her 18-month-old daughter Suri stepped out in Berlin yesterday for a little walk in the park while family patriarch Tom Cruise was busy on the set of his highly anticipated war flick, ‘Valkyrie.’
Meanwhile, new British reports have the 28-year-old former actress seeking the advice of a nutritionist, after apparently telling pals that she wants to give Suri a brother or sister.
And, according to reports, the former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actress has stopped eating raw fish, increased her portions of vegetables and is taking pre-natal vitamin supplements.A friend of Mrs Tom Cruise said: “Katie feels that Sure is the right age to try for another.â€
Gee, I hope this doesn’t interfere with her New York City Marathon hopes!

There’s nothing wrong with an 18-month old having a bottle, Erika. Some kids just need the comfort of it longer.

It’s a bottle, not a pacifier, Anon. They don’t suck on it 24/7–only to drink water/milk. But thanks for the “one size fits all” child-rearing philosophy. I’m sure your children will grow up to be perfect because of it.

Its generally more about the parents not wanting to deal with giving up the bottle than the child needing it. Maybe at nap and bedtime it wouldn’t be a big deal, but just walking around with it makes it a pacifier. You’re welcome….
Katie has nasty legs, but that baby is cute as hell.
Technically they don’t need formula once they hit a year, whatever is in that bottle whether it be juice, milk, water, should probably be in a sippy cup. My daughter stopped the bottle at one year but my son went past that til about 2 years. BUT, it was just at night and it was milk in the bottle. If I was out with him he’d have a cup. I don’t think it’s the end of the world to still be on the bottle but I agree that the parent just needs to take it away. Sometimes easier said than done.

Does it really matter if the baby teeth are crooked? Just make sure he/she is weaned before the adult ones start cutting in. Problem solved!
