A very shy Charlize Theron was seen arriving to Los Angeles International Airport late night (August 11) with beau Stuart Townsend and her mom Gerda. The travelling trio could be seen hugging goodbye before driving off in separate vehicles.

Charlize — who graces the coveted September issue of Vogue magazine — will soon begin shooting a film where the courage of Lawrence of Arabia meets Florence Nightingale‘ compassion.

In the upcoming Florence of Arabia, the Oscar-winning actress will play a state employee in a fictitious Arab country who fights for women’s rights. Miss Theron will be both producer and star in the highly-anticipated flick.
