Looking chic in a black St John trench, superstar mom Angelina Jolie leaves fans wanting more for as she picks up 6-year-old Maddox from the Lycée Français de New York school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on Thursday.
Despite the fact that there were dozens of screaming fans lined up around the exclusive private school, Angie and son made a quick B-line from the door to their chauffeur vehicle, virtually bypassing all their adoring fans.
Was Angelina pulling a ‘tude? Are there concerns over the safety of her young son? Nah…it was just pouring rain outside.

Is there also a reason why they put this kid through this every day. Can’t they use a back door or something - this is really weird. They must like what is going on thought because they keep using the same enterance. It seems weird that other movie stars can find back doors and not be noticed. Obviously they like the attention. Poor Maddox this is going to make him weird when he gows up.
I’m kinda bored with this family too, but I admit that they are a sweet family and Britney should take lessons from them
I don’t see why we have to see pictures of the same routine everyday, but I am in no way bored of this family.
I agree with you Agustina, they are a nice family, people might not agree with the way in which they are bringing up their children, but everyone’s parenting style is different. One rule does not apply to all, sometimes people fail to grasp this.
Guest - They do drop Maddox off in the mornings at the side door and even through the garage entrance. Perhaps there are some regulations as why they have to use the front entrance for pick up.
She could single handedly stop the paps if she just waited in the car for the kid– like almost every carpooled kids in the burbd– But lets face it, she LOVES the attention “Look at me, Im such a hands on mom!”

WHy should she compromise her motherhood to keep the paps away… I think by this time they had made some peace with this… I would want to go in and get my kid rather than have him meet me in my car, why would I do that? I should just sit at home and wait then. At least they never say Oh poor me I am being followed by these people like Brit, they know what fame brings.
Who picks their kid up inside of the school? Seriously!! Everyone pulls up and the kid walks to the damn car. If they are worried about his safety then have a teacher walk him out. Shit, for thousands for the school year they should fly the kid home. I agree that she does it for the attention of everyone.

my2cents - I suppose she could have someone escort her kid to the car, but I agree with MeSoup. I think she’s just living her life. And anyway, if something happens to her child, and she wasn’t there to protect him, she’d never forgive herself.

If they have someone escort the kids out all you complainers will be up in arm as to why she can’t just walk in and pick him up. If they let a bodyguard take him to school, you will still complain. They can’t win for trying.
I really don’t understand why people would wait outside the school. It’s bad enough that people go to red carpets and scream on the sidelines. Wating outside a school where a celebrity picks up her child makes one a total looser-get a hobby!
