So much for wearing an unsightly maternity muumuu to cover up her burgeoning baby bump. Nicole Richie threw on her shortest black mini dress and her highest high heels for the launch of her new self-named maternity line in Beverly Hills last night (August 6).
After conquering the world of jewelry with her ‘House of Harlow 1960′ collection, the designing starlet has added ‘Nicole’ to her fashion resume, an exclusive collection for popular baby retailer A Pea in the Pod.
So what made Nicole opt to don such a sexy mommy-to-be ensemble for the debut? “I think the pregnant body is beautiful,” she says, “and I think you should show it off!”
As for what to expect in the line? Think boho-chic. Lots peasant tops, lots of flowing maxidress and oodles of detail.

She is perfect for this line! She looks amazing when she is pregnant and I love that she keeps her own individual style instead of just opting for boring maternity clothes. She makes her own style suit her changing body which really works. She looks great here, really healthy and glowing!
