Famous for his temper tantrums and hissyfits, Kanye West was in a surprisingly good mood while out and about in New York City today (August 6).

After chatting with a friend outside of Jamba Juice in SoHo, the controversial rapper could be seen flashing a smile to the cameras before hopping in a chauffered vehicle.

Meanwhile, Kanye is set to join Jay-Z and Rihanna for a performance of Run This Town on the inaugural night of Jay Leno’s new primetime show.

The song is off Jay-Z’s eagerly-anticipated album The Blueprint 3, which drops on September 11.
