It was like a death in the family: You go through the mourning stage, then the rebellion, and then all of a sudden you have to find life by yourself. Once you do that, you feel complete-and that’s the only time you can truly fall in love again, and give yourself over completely to another person.”
Jessica on her legacy: “Tony said, ‘Jessica, at the end of your life, the only thing that’s going to flash through your mind and heart is your husband, kids, family and the people you love. You’re not going to think, I wish I’d done this with my career. And I’m not going to remember how many touchdown passes I threw or if I won the Super Bowl.’ Music is the heart of who I am, and it’s the most personal thing that I do.”
On her future plans: “I’m never going to be a woman who doesn’t work. At 12 I was emancipated from my parents so I could sign my first record deal. I think I was born working!”

Why do people like her? And why does she continue to get on magazine covers. She is not that interesting.

I like her and think she sounds sensible. She’s one of the few celebs that I think has her head on straight not matter what the internet public says about her. She always comes across as real to me.
And I think the “legacy” term was used by this website, not by her.

she didnt make sense on the legacy question. she was talking about family and minding a career and then she ended it with music…what?
I am so sick of them photoshopping the hell out of her. We see the pap photos all the time. She is not a size zero all of the sudden. I am just so sick of her in general. I was such a huge fan years ago and now I think it’s time she just fades away lol.
She looks gorgeous here! I think she seems like a really nice girl, I think her only thing is that she gets a little obsessed with the guys she is seeing and hasn’t learned to keep relationships private sometimes. I never knew she was emancipated from her parents either! Wow!
