HILARY DUFF JOINS HER ON-SET BEAU

The stars of Gossip Girl started work earlier today (August 3) in New York City and they were greeted with a surprise.

Pal Leighton Meester usually joins Blake Lively, but this time her companion was one of the season’s new additions, Hilary Duff.

The actress/singer will be playing Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in hopes for a normal college life experience.

Olivia is rumored to become Dan’s (Penn Badgley) new lover on the show.

How will Ms. Lively feel about that one?
