Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon defines elegance as she poses at the premiere of ‘Rendition’ at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.
Looking characteristically understated in a black strapless dress and nude peep-toes, the stunning actress effortlessly made her way across the red carpet amid the typical brouhaha of any star-studded Hollywood premiere.
Miss Witherspoon was joined by her ‘Rendition’ costars Jake Gyllenhaal and Meryl Streep.
And while amid rumours that Reese and Jake have been doing the nasty since meeting on the set earlier this year, the rumoured couple totally pulled an Brangelina by staying more than a lens frame away while chatting with the press line.
The movie opens on October 19.

She looks very good as always! I love her shoes and the dress is cute, I feel like I’ve seen her look like this a million times before though. She’s seems to like the whole strapless dress to her knees with hair up thing. I like her though, good actress and seems like a nice person.
1-I love Reese Witherspoon, but I wish her stylist would have calmed down with the self-tanner on her legs. They look orange.
2- Something about Jake Gylenhall has always bothered me but i can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe that his face is set on a permanent dopey expression, but there’s something else too.

Reese looks great here. Sometimes I wish she would choose a different style but this understated look suits her. Great make up too; the pink really brings out her blue eyes.
I love Reese as a role model and actress but i don’t think she’s all the pretty. She has no sex appeal and her chin drives me crazy.

Can’t say I like Reese’s dress, and those shoes look like they came straight from the Payless clearance rack. I do think Reese is a lovely-looking woman, though.
Gawd, I hate Jakey’s beard! He looks so much hotter when he’s clean-shaven. He’s not looking his usual chiseled self here, and I’m wondering if the beard is an attempt to hide some extra pounds, or if the beard itself is making him look jowly.
And I feel like lightning is going to strike me for saying anything bad about Meryl, but she’s looking frumpy here. And that pink eyeshadow only makes her look like she hasn’t slept well in days…
I love me some Gyllenhaal. But he needs to lose that damn beard, I think he’s doing that old trick of using facial hair to ‘man up’ because he does have a very boyish face but here the beard only serves to make him look chubby and he definitely isn’t that.
Reese looks great, smart, professional and elegant same about Meryl but really….boring to be honest. I want some colour in their clothes or make up. SOMETHING.
At least they’re useful though, they can act and they are intelligent ladies, I really can’t complain.
That chin of hers is insane.
