With hubby Deryck Whibley nowhere to be seen, the 24-year-old Canadian pop punkstress could be seen frolicking on the sandy white beach with a dark-haired mystery man.
When the daytime playtime came to an end, Avril partied the night away at the Chateau Hotel de la Messardiere with a couple of single gal pals.
Meanwhile, the Sk8er Boi singer’s album is due out in November, and she has revealed that she will be taking a completely different approach to her music.
“A lot of the songs are mainly the acoustic and my vocal,” she tells Billboard. “It’s a lot different from anything I’ve done before. It’s not a pop-rock record. This is more about emotion and feeling.”
And while the album is yet to be titled, it does have a producer: Deryck!
The Sum 41 frontman handles production on eight of the record’s planned 12 tracks.
