Wow — maybe rehab really did have a positive effect on Lindsay Lohan.
Barely out of the Cirque Lodge facility in Utah and OK! magazine is already reporting that the rehabilitating starlet has cut professional ties with her mother Dina.
“Lindsay fired Dina as her manager,†an insider revealed.
“She is livid about all this press her mom is doing on this NYC apartment that she’ll never even live in; Dina even gave Access Hollywood a tour of the apartment two nights ago.â€
Meanwhile, the tabloid offers up a theory as to why Dina gets the attention she does. “No one wants Dina without Lindsay,” the source told OK! flatly. “They tolerate her simply to get to Lindsay — the REAL star in the family.”

UPDATE: Stupid, crappy tabloids. It appears OK! magazine is making up stories (again!!!) Lindsay’s rep tells TMZ, “Dina remains Lindsay’s manager and, more importantly, her mother.”
Too bad. It would have been the wisest decision she’s made thus far.

Best thing she could ever have done (IF it’s true). She’s a grown woman. She needs to get out of the clutches of her ridiculous mother already. Take control of her life (and become more responsible for it). Buh-bye Dina.
Maybe Lindsey watched some Dr. Phil when in rehab. He’s had two shows lately telling moms to be moms and hire professional managers — there is nothing but bad things in the future if you try to be mom-ager.

I honestly don’t understand why any celebrity wouldn’t break professional ties with their parents after they became an adult. But then again, most celebrity parent/managers allow their underage kids to behave like adults anyway so it really wouldn’t change the relationship, I guess.
Wow Lindsay looks like she has been up for 6 days in that photo. I couldn’t believe it when I saw Dina the other day on some show showing of Lindsay’s new apartment and taking the cameras along shopping to pick out furniture. Are you kidding me woman? Your daughter is in REHAB and you are showing off her new fancy apartment. She is just another woman who has her priorities all screwed up and out of order.
That wouldn’t be a very easy job to fire your mother, I didn’t think Lindsay had the guts to do it. Dina does seem like she’s just riding on her daughters fame but the thing that bothers me most about her is her skankiness. I have seen her twice out at a club with other 40 somethings desperately trying to be younger, and she’s been acting like a complete idiot. One time she was all over this other dude, feeling him up and shouting rude remarks to her pals and the other time she was talking really really loudly about Lindsay and how they are best friends so that pretty much everyone around her could hear. No wonder Lindsay likes the attention, she got it from her mama! It’s like they are competing for the spotlight…pathetic.
my buddy was at a trailer park one day about 18 years ago when he saw a mother shotgunning dank rips from a bong into the mouth of her 2 or 3 year old baby girl. i used to blow smoke into my dog’s ear when i was 16, so i mentioned that to him. then i said it sounded like something britney might do to sp or jj, and the instant i said this, he exclaimed “now that i think about it, that b#@^h did resemble britney” … so can we just take a closer look at Dina, and can we perhaps see a slight resemblance to Britney, or is this just a shot in the dark?
p.s. — a shot in the dark might reveal some serious action with any one of these three!!
dina lohan is using her daughter to live the life she was not able to create for herself. she is a loser, and i hate her trashy look.
