Shia LaBeouf may be an A-list Hollywood actor but he still runs very pedestrian errands. No assistants here!

Stepping out yesterday (July 28) during a balmy afteroon in Los Angeles, the bearded Transformers actor was seen stopping by Auto Zone and Ace Hardware to pick up some supplies.

Shia was in good spirits considering that he broke the law earlier this week when he was seen riding a scooter on city streets despite the fact his license was suspended earlier this year.

According to the DMV website, scooters with engines below 50cc’s require an M1 license, and because “motorized bicycles” with attached engines require an M2 license, Shia was indeed breaking California’s DMV laws.

What a bad boy!
