Meryl Streep and Amy Adams dazzled at the special L.A. screening of Julie & Julia held at Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, CA tonight (July 27).
Meryl is Julia Child and Amy is Julie Powell in writer/director Nora Ephron’s adaptation of two bestselling memoirs: Julie Powell’s Julie & Julia and My Life in France, by Julia Child with Alex Prud’homme.
Joining the gorgeous leading ladies on the red carpet tonight were co-stars Mary Lynn Rajskub and Chris Messina.
Based on two true stories, Julie & Julia intertwines the lives of two women who are both at loose ends — though separated by time and space. That is until they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible!
Julia & Julia hits theatres on August 7.

Wow..I love her shoes! They are the hottest thing about her whole outfit. Amy kind of gets on my nerves a bit but I think Meryl is an amazing actress and I’m really looking foward to seeing this movie.
