A truly regal looking Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 40th birthday in style with a star-studded affair entitled ‘An Evening For Lola’ at the Edison Ballroom in New York City last night (July 25).
Hosted by hubby Marc Anthony, the bash saw the likes of Ricky Martin, Liza Minnelli and LA Reid stepping out to fete J.Lo’s landmark birthday.
Surrounded by friends, family and associates, the girl of the hour — dressed in a white Grecian gown — was overcome with emotion as she teared up with joy.
Other celebirty attendees on hand for the big night included Benny Medina, Gayle King, mom Guadelupe Lopez, BFF Leah Remini, sister Lisa Lopez and her Back-Up Plan co-star Alex O’Loughlin.

This is such a typical Jennifer Lopez outfit…I could have almost predicted what she would wear. While I think she pulls the look off well it gets a little predictable…but hey it’s her birthday she can wear what she likes. I love her hair like this!
Very true Stephi…i thought the same thing as soon as i saw this picture. she looks hot and her body is super sexy. i love how she is thin but has a womenly softless to her. even though marc isnt’ attractive i think it’s amazing how much he loves his women. it’s as if you can feel his love for her in every picture. i hope they stay together but i can tell he is more into her then she is to him.

Shame to see Marc Anthony worshipping that woman the way he does with a clear conscious, knowing he dumped his wife and kids for her. And she’s a Goddess only to herself and Marc Anthony because not one A-listed celebrity showed up at her event.
