Mel Gibson was spotted in Las Vegas last night (July 24) engaging in the kind of festivities one might expect from the actor in Sin City.

The controversial star fell victim to the gambling bug inside the casino as he played Black Jack at a table until his money ran out.

He could be seen returning minutes later with more money in hand and eventually split his time between the Black Jack tables and the Roulette Wheel.

Earlier in the day, Mel took his 10-year-old son Tommy and two pals to Bodies, a three-dimensional look at human anatomy, at the Luxor Hotel & Casino.

While he laughed heartily throughout the afternoon with his son, the mood definitely changed in the evening when a solo Mel was robbed of all his cash by the dealer.

Luckily, With an estimated net worth of $850-$950 million, we’re sure that losing at the table took a greater toll on Mel’s ego than his checkbook.
