Still looking like a couple of newlyweds, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were the picture of marital bliss while spending an evening out in New York’s trendy Tribeca neighbourhood last night (July 24).
As Mimi’s latest track, Obsesseed, continues to flop, some very dedicated fans are now collecting donations to help her flogging single.
This is not different than her infamous Glitter days, where Mimi released a flop single called Loverboy. Many of her so-called “lambs” vowed to buy several copies of the song after it was deeply discounted to 49 cents.
That helped the song rise to number 2 on Billboard’s Hot 100.
Obsessed debuted at #11 on Billboard and has since slipped to #20.

soo embarassaing! the momment she went out with her RAINBOW cd.. she seems to be out with this skimpy micro mini up to now! what happened to her voice? obsessed can be a hit but it will never never be a mariah classic like fantasy, someday etc…. beyonce’s sweet dreams is way better that this obssesed video.. just sayin’..
How pathetic. Her record company always buys her number 1’s and uses shady tactics to move her up spots, what happened this time? Now the Lambs have to foot the bill.
I think Obsessed deserves to be on the charts, it’s a pretty good single. I wish Mariah would come out with some of her famous ballads though and show off her voice. Her new stuff is too produced and a bit too r’n'b for her. She doesn’t need to do that to sell records in my opinion. Although obviously it’s not working too well anyway.
