CHARITY BRINGS A SMILE TO JESSICA’S FACE

No, Ashlee Simpson did not get more plastic surgery.

That’s older sis Jessica Simpson posing alongside 9-year-old Paige Atkison at the ‘Operation Smile’ 25th anniversary gala in Beverly Hills, CA on Friday.

Paige, who was born with a cleft lip and cleft palate, raised over $17 000 so that her surgeon can operate on children similarly afflicted.

No such donation from Miss Simpson but at least her hair looked pretty, right?

She’s been committed to this charity for a long time. It’s good to see she’s kept up with it. She looks really pretty here. Her hair is a gorgeous color at the moment and she should wear it up like that more often.

Okay, I can’t stand Jessica but I have to give her props for being the face of this charity and for bringing attention to it. I think its great when celebrities do things like this. I read that she has been part of this charity before she hit it big so you know she’s not just doing it for publicity.

Nice to see she wore something appropriate- not a sexy outfit.
I feel so badly for kids born with this defect.

She looks beautiful for the first time in a LONG time. Natural is the way to go for her and not the Texas barbie looks she tries all the time.

With all those millions, why can’t she make a donation? My son was born with a cleft lip and fortunate enough to have it repaired (this past Monday — he’s only 6 months). I cannot imagine children living in 3rd world countries that don’t have the same medical resources. What a heartbreak. I’m sure Jessica could spare some money to go toward those less fortunate. I even wonder if she was paid to make an appearance at this event
