They say that the early bird catches the worm but it appears that it catches the best lighting as well.

Up at the crack of dawn, Anna Paquin was up bright and early this morning (July 21) for a photo shoot in Venice, CA.

The Oscar-winning actress is currently making the rounds promoting her hit HBO vampire series True Blood, but it appears that may one day quit acting and return to university after an eight-year absence. (She was studying at New York’s Columbia University but dropped out when she began to land more movie roles.)

“It would be [good for me] if I graduated,” she says. “It turned out I really liked my job so I didn’t come back after the first year.”

She adds: “But evidently they think I’ve graduated because I was recently invited back to a class reunion for class of 2004. I was rather surprised. I don’t know how that happened.”
