Poor Jessica Simpson.
It appears that Tony Romo dumped the failed country singer after growing tried of the her constant yapping about settling down and getting married.
“It got to the point where that’s all she’d talk about,” a source tells Star mag. “She would speak to him all the time about buying an engagement ring. Even in public.”
The insider adds: “Jessica expected it last Christmas. Then she thought she would get one for New Year’s Eve. And when by Valentine’s Day it didn’t happen, the tension between them became explosive. The night before her birthday, Tony warned her that he wasn’t ready to buy a ring. They had a massive fight and Tony cut the cord for good.”
Since the breakup, Tony has been seen partying with friends at Los Angeles hotspots, like MyHouse and the Key Club. As for Jessica? She’s remained mostly quiet and away from the public eye.

She seems like the most insecure, needy, demanding in a relationship type girl. If a guy doesn’t do want she wants she must pout and now she’s realizing that as she gets older guys don’t want to play her games anymore. Her creepy father probably gives/gave her whatever she wanted so she is looking for that in a husband.
It’s hard to believe she’s 29. She behaves so much younger than her years.
Not a fan of either one of them but if you think about it - if they were going out for 2 years, it’s not unreasonable for her to think they would be heading towards engagement. It’s not like they are high schoolers.
^^^Very true. I know most woman don’t like to openly say so, but they’re probably thinking about it (the future). Plus her younger sister is married and has a child, so she probably feels it’s her time…
As much as she annoys me, I feel bad that she’s being made to be some clingy, desperate girl.

Tony Jumped Jessica? um, what? do you mean ‘D’umped Jessica? I’m with you guys, after 2 years and there is no engagement or at least talk of one, then what’s left to say. She might feel like her time is running out to get started on a fam, you know, she’s almost the big 3.0. but she’ll be fine. She’ll bounce back.
She lost the weight though, good for her. ahh… i bet she wish she still had Nick… he really put up with BS from her.
I don’t think it’s been two years, has it? But anyway she’s hardly been out of the spotlight. Ever since the dumping she’s made sure to get her POV and spin out there. We all know precisely what’s she’s been up to from the moping to the all girls’s dinner. Puhleeze. She’s going to use this to milk every ounce of attention just like she does with everything else. God help us when she gets pregnant. We’re going to be subjected to every last friggin detail. Ugh.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this was true. I think Jessica really regrets divorcing Nick and leaving the perfect little life that they created. It was when she lost all that weight and thought her career was going to take off in Dukes of Hazzard that I think she thought she was too hot for marriage…but it didn’t really happen that way. Nick really loved her and put up with a lot from her. I don’t know if she will find someone like that again and maybe she knows that.
I feel sorry for her, her dad is a major puppet master & always interferred in her marriage as well as managing her career right into the ground. She is kind of left floundering without the maturity a young woman her age should have. She has no life experience & will always be seeking someone to look after her.
