Simon Cowell assures us that we have nothing to worry about concerning Paula Abdul’s future on American Idol.
“She’ll be fine. She’ll be on the show,” he tells Extra, “I don’t get a lot of say. I’ve just made it clear that I want Paula on the show.”
Ryan Seacrest wants Paula back behind the judging table too, telling Extra, “I think as far as I know, you’ll see everybody back. I hope so.”

I wouldn’t miss her if she was out…..there are a lot better people who could sit in that chair…The could mix it up and have guest artists as judges every week…or get Cindy Lauper…she would be fun….I am tired of Paula Abdrool slurring her way through this program….
She has a point you know. Simon and Ryan make loads of money and she “only” gets 2 million a year. She is crazy as hell but she is right.
Having Paula there gives Simon the perfect springboard for his comments. If you notice, he always likes to comment AFTER Paula. If he has anything to say about it (and you KNOW he does) I bet she’ll be back. She makes him look good and I do think he genuinely cares about her too.
