VIDEO: THE ROW

Check out this exclusive video footage of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s new holiday collection for ‘The Row’, the high end clothing line created by the designing duo.

The line is mostly basics with great tailoring. Nonetheless, it’s a great start for the young fashionistas.

it’s nice…if you’re anoreic, but not for “real” women (anything above a 2).

Why would I want to buy clothing from ‘designers’ who always look like traveling gypsies. It’s like asking Britney Spears for parenting tips.

    Boohoo is right on!
The vid was pretentious and hipster and styled by someone pretentious and hipster who REALLY likes the porno style vibe of American Apparel….but whatever….thats their market.
What I like is that it does seem well thought out and they are clearly going more for respect and credibility rather than just rushing through their choices so they can add fashion ‘designer’ (extra large air qoutes) to their CV.
HOWEVER, that fur dress/turtleneck ensemble is all kinds of wrong and that model needs to be wearing a bra if the clothes are as sheer as they look.

This is gonna sell out fast in the more style savvy cities - well, in the u.s thats really just N.Y

It’s totally them & as they’re always hailed as fashion icons in vogue then i’m guessing it’s gonna be pretty
successfull … as usual i just don’t think most americans will get it b/c they never do … they only understand Banan Republic / Gap etc… ugh!

i liked the promo a lot. it shows the versatility of just a few key pieces. HOWEVER, i agree with Anonymous — don’t try this look if you are not extremely skinny. i am thin, but i think you need more of a meth look to pull these clothes off. also, i can’t spend more than $30 for a t-shirt.

    I would probably wear them… if I was a flat-chested size 0!
No, seriously, they’re just basic (very basic!) retro inspired garments, what’s the big deal?

i like the ad itself..the production of it, although not completely original, still nice.
the clothes are basic but there are pieces that i would definetly want to buy..a girl needs basics too!
no doubt these clothes are going to be ridiculously overpriced

Most of the items looks like Americanapparel (seems like they are the fan of)and they will most likely priced 10times more than Americanapparel, huh?Such ripp off.

I love the style, except I couldn’t pull off most of those shoes. It’s probably too expensive for me.
