Looks like Britney Spears will remain separated from her children.
A judge has just appointed Kevin Federline custody of his children while Britney will only receive monitored visitation.
The next hearing (and chance for Brit to fight for her kids) is on October 26.
K-Fed’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan says both side presented evidence at today’s hearing. He would not say exactly what happened, but he hinted that the judge would make an order soon. He told reporters outside that he and Kevin felt the ruling was “jusified.
Meanwhile, OK! magazine is reporting that Britney will begin rehab at Crossroads on Saturday in Antigua. (It’s OK! magazine so take it with a grain of salt.)
Alone. No family. No friends. Nothing.
I guess I was wrong — things really can get worse for Britney.

She didn’t even show up. Not that she was supposed to, but still…she could have.
^The judge was obviously not happy about that either because he ordered that she be there the next time. My ass would of for sure been there looking like a million dollars. I mean they talked about HER parenting skills for 3 damn hours and she didn’t even show up to hear it or defend herself. Very odd! So she has another 3 weeks to go out and party without having to worry about being home. She is probably thrilled.
Man, Im the only one here left in the world but I feel so awful for her, she’s been so stupid, and keeps fucking up but I cant help but feel for her. Speechless and how horrific her life has turned out to be. He’s just as bad though, he parties and drinks and I don’t think he should get custody either. Its too bad Britney’s mom couldn’t have gotten it. Its pretty bad that she has to have monitored visitation. I know a lot of REALLY shitty crazy drug addicted moms that don’t even have monitored visitation rights, thats pretty messed up and theres got to be info that hasn’t been leaked that I don’t think the world will ever know about.
HOw is this gonna work if Kevin can’t take them out of state but he’s working in North Carolina on One Tree Hill???
she’s not going to get the kids back until she sobers up. no judge will do that. the license does nothing for this case. she needs to be clean and sober for months at a time.

It is funny how people feel sorry for a multimillionaire super star …. Feel sorry for yourselves —she is just fime. She is still rich and lived much better life that any of you so far.
^I agree. It is hard to feel sorry for someone who can buy and sell mansions in Malibu every other week. I would like just one of those please with a big ass pool in the back for my kids. I don’t feel sorry for her at all. She had the world by the balls and let it slip away and she made ungodly amounts of $$ doing really nothing to speak of but dance.
well, fortress, it depends on your definition of “better.” does she have a ton of cash? yes. she is super-duper rich. she is also obviously troubled, abusing substances, alienating her family, friends, colleagues and destroying her career. i’d rather be making min wage and have a state of mind and the love and support of those around me than the hell that this woman is living.
I’m glad she didn’t get custody. Just because she got her CA license? It proves how she doesn’t care that she didn’t even bother showing up today. Kevin should just let Brit’s family raise them, that would really get her going LOL.

In some ways, I do feel sorry for her. Yes, she’s a multi-millionaire and all that. But she also had one of the biggest stagemothers in the business (next to Dina Lohan) warping her mind for years before anyone knew who she was. I have to feel sorry for someone who’s most likely never learned the meaning of the word “normal”.
No one here mentioned the most bizarre and telling thing: her visitations MUST BE SUPERVISED!! How fucked up of a parent must you be to not be allowed to spend time alone with your kids without a court-ordered supervisor present. That shit only happens to abusers, criminals and junkies. Nice Britney.
If she no longer has the children does that mean she can move out of L.A???
