Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson have split!
The couple reportedly broke up the night before Jessica’s 29th birthday July 10.
A source tells Us Weekly: “She canceled her party because of this. She’s doing OK. They go from one fight right into another, without a second break. It’s always something with Jessica.”
A Romo insider adds: “It’s been a long time coming.”
Meanwhile, sources tell People: “She is heartbroken. She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately. He’s busy with his career and she’s getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways.”
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback fueled break-up rumours when he showed up with about 14 friends at the Hollywood hotspot MyHouse on Friday night without the birthday girl. Jessica’s rep had no comment. Romo’s rep could not be reached for comment.

I know all the cool kids love to hate on Jessica but I actually thought they were kind of cute together in an airheadY kind of way. It’s not like he’s any more of a catch than she is. That said, I still don’t discount a reunion with Nick and Jessica. You never forget your first love.

Come to think of it - Nick and Jessica together for another reality show = instant moneymaker for both of them. (Grudgingly admit - I’d probably tune in for the trainwreck).

I don’t think she will ever find a guy that loved her as much as Nick did. He definately put up with a lot of crap from her, but you could tell he absolutely adored her. She broke his heart. I don’t know if he’s stupid enough to take her back after that. Looks like the tables have turned on Jessica now.
